General Information

I am a molecular ecologist that combines genetic/genomic and demographic data to investigate natural populations. As Marie Curie Fellow and previously a Newton International Fellow, I am using stable isotope and hig-resolution genomic data to investigate the role of behaviour in connectivity in the southern right whale (Eubalaena australis). This collaborative project involves researchers studying the species in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand and South Africa.

Previously, I was working with Dr Rochelle Constantine and Associate Professor Mary Sewell at the University of Auckland using high throughput genetic methods to investigate Bryde's whale diet.
