General Information

My PhD project is focused on undertanding the impacts of human activities on the distribution of humpback whales in the coast of Brazil. During my master's degree, I have used Distance Sampling methods to estimate the abundance of the same population in the area. With a Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine, I have experience on aquatic fauna strandings and wild animal rehabilitation.

My studies are currently funded by CNPq (Brazilian federal government) through the Science Without Borders scholarships programme.
