Please join us for a public lecture on the theme of “blue carbon” by Emeritus Professor Hilary Kennedy, School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University – Hilary chairs the UK Blue Carbon Forum and has made a sustained international contribution to blue carbon science, particularly through the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The lecture will be followed by a Q&A discussion, drinks reception, and the announcement of the launch of the University’s Blue Carbon Research Centre (a collaboration between the Schools of Biology, Chemistry, Earth, and Geography & Sustainable Development).
