The EMBL TREC expedition is a large-scale expedition with 120 stops across the UK and Europe over the course of a year (https://www.embl.org/about/info/trec/). The purpose of this expedition is to study coastal ecosystems and their response to the environment, from molecules to communities. TREC will be visiting St Andrews to collect data from 25 Aug to 1 Sept . On Wed 30 August at noon, the TREC team will give a talk about their project followed by a tour of their mobile laboratory. This is a great opportunity to hear about an exciting collaborative project and think about collaborations that could grow from it!
